Talking to Jesus

We have tried to teach our children at a young age to fold their arms, and participate in our family prayers. Before they can talk, they can usually say the blessing in sign language, which I have found helpful to teach our babies. It has saved us from a lot of frustration when they are trying to communicate, and really helps me understand what they want. And it is so dang cute! So, back to the prayers. Kassidy and Landon fight over who is going to say it, everytime. Landon will tell Kass, "My Hevy Fada!" And then procedes to say it no matter who's turn it is, or if its already in the process of being said.
We have told them if they ever see a snake outside and momma & daddy aren't around to RUN! as fast as you can and say a prayer in your head for the snake to not bite you. (I am scared to death of the babies coming up on a rattlesnake in the grass while playing.)
Well, Kassidy has had a really bad kidney infection the last 4-5 days. She is very familiar with priesthood blessings, and the laying on of hands. Chris has given the babies blessings when they have been sick. A few weeks ago Chris heard Kassidy say to Landon he would be ok now because she said a prayer on his head(probably to be nice!).
While in Fernandina, the boys were at the beach and I stayed in the condo with her. She was just miserable. I asked her if she wanted me to say a prayer for her. "Ya. The kind with your hands on my head." I explained only Daddy could give that special prayer, but I would say a special one from her mommy. They are learning so quickly. Today, while groaning in agony and curled up in a ball on the floor, Kassidy was talking to herself. I went over to check on her. She looked up at me, smiled and said,"I was just talking to Jesus." I asked her what she was talking to him about. "That He will make me better."
